By now most of you should know that I'm one of those gadget freaks. Staying true to that nature, I recently bought a new compact camera by Canon, the PowerShot SD780 IS. It's black, it's sleek, it's tiny and it's only 0.7 inches thick. Oh so sexy! It's absolutely the right camera for my everyday use (my DSLR will be reserved for when the time calls for it). I just dumped it in my bag or slip it in my back pocket whenever I head out the door. It's so tiny it can even fit into my skinny jeans' pocket.

This little beauty may emphasize on compactness but it definitely doesn't ignore the need for a small camera to take great pictures. This baby sports a 2.5 inch LCD, 12.1 megapixel sensor (not that I care cause it really doesn't matter; a mere 5 megapixel would be more than enough for a compact) and 3x zoom lens featuring the latest generation DIGIC IV image processor.
Here are some of the tech features that comes with the SD780 IS:
- Smart Auto - design to automatically detect 8 different scene types and adjust the shooting settings appropriately.
- Program Auto - there is no manual exposure control option but several scene presets are available.
- HD movies & HDMI output - the camera is ready for HDMI output to a HDTV. It features a maximum of 1280x720 (720p), at 30fps for movie recording.
- Face Detection - track faces within a frame and give them priority in exposure and focus.
- Blink Detection - minimize portrait photos in which the subject is blinking

I can't remember when and how it started but I have a deep running love for gadgets. I love looking and admiring them, I love to study them, I love to toy with them and most of all I love to own them all.
Recently MoofMoof bought me 3 gadgets and I'm very much delighted. Though most people are hyped up about the Iphone, I am not particularly attracted to it. Instead, I chose the Sony Ericsson W980i as I don't really need most of the features on the Iphone and I'm not very fond of the touch screen when it comes to texting people. No offence to the pro-Iphone people out there, it's great an all but I'm just not that into it.

Second gadget that I got is the m*dded Sony FAT PSP 1001. It's a used PSP but still an awesome buy as m*dded FAT PSP 1001 is hard to come by these days. My current top 3 games would be Patapon 2, and the newly launched Pangya and Audition (both are online PC games made portable).

The last gadget would be my Brothers CS-6000i sewing machine that I love, love, love! More about the CS-6000i would be featured here.
One of the reasons that I've not been updating my blog is my 3 gadgets. I was too busy toying with them. The other reason is that I've been thinking about what to write on this particular post as it's my 100th post. But then again I decided not to do anything special about it since it's just numbers and there'll be the 200th, 300th and more hundreds post to come if I don't stop blogging. p/s: To Tough Girl 101 (one of my favourite blogger) : I finally have a weird looking angry cat design that I'm happy about. Will put it into production first thing tomorrow morning. Picture of the finished cat will be posted here and also on my critters blog once it's done. Stay tuned :p
