Have not had any good sleep since I arrived in Seattle a year ago. I'm cursed to sleep like an ancient Chinese peasant. I turn and toss and wake up with backaches whenever I sleep on a soft bed. MoofMoof's bed is what most would call soft and comfortable. However it's not my block of bed. I end up feeling lethargic every day.
To solve that, we both pull out our sleeping bags one night. Slept through the whole night wrapped in warm fleece blankets. Voila, I woke up feeling fresher than ever. Unfortunately, MoofMoof looked like a zombie (one with a terrible backache) the whole day. Obviously, hard and firm is not for him. Thus, we've been sleeping separately for the past 1 week. Me on the floor with my sleeping bag and fleece blanket, him on the bed with our awesome quilt. We are miserable!
Is there a bed out there that is soft on one side and firm on the other? If anyone knows such a bed existed, let me know. Or if you know of any good idea to solve our problem, let me know too.
At least for now, I don't have to wake up feeling like I need to go back to bed in 2 hours.

Ate Jack In The Box and now I feel guilty and I have a sudden craving for dancing. Other than swimming, running and pilates, I used to dance to maintain my weight. Though I'm no master at dancing, I've been doing it since I was 5 from funny chicken dance to bhangra dance to chacha to chinese fan dance to joget to Grease and to weird hip hop routine that we created ourselves, I had a lot of fun doing it.
After I graduated from university, the only times I dance were in the club. Sometimes I wish I'm back in school dancing away with my girls not having to worry about anything at all. Hmm...this calls for an action. My next goal shall be to take up a dancing class but what dance should I pick though? Latin? HipHop? Jazz? Dang it, I wanna learn it all!
Alright, nuff of blabbering! Time to blast some BEP and shake my booty! Uh woo Uh woo!

Sorry guys, I know I've been gone for too long. Can't help it though, I'm too caught up with summer and too busy helping MoofMoof lay down his business plans. As promised, I pick a couple of my personal favourites from my post-wedding pictures to share with you guys. Enjoy...

I have to thank my friend also photographer Jennifer Tai for her amazing work. It was a very cold windy day but working with her was fun and relaxing. I was diagnosed with a right ovarian cyst last year during my first ultrasound+pap smear+mammogram checkup. The cyst is a functional cyst (collection of fluid surrounded by a thin wall) and not cancerous.
A month after my arrival in
Since then I’ve been visiting my gynecologist regularly every 2 months and everything has been looking good until last month. Apart from the existing one has grown in size, they found a new cyst growing on my left ovary and both are filled with fluid and blood. As the cysts have potential to bleed into themselves or twist the ovary, I’m now put on birth control pills treatment. Birth control pill helps to shrink and eradicate existing cysts and prevents the formation of new cysts. I’m scheduled for another check up four months later to see the result of the treatment and thus I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

It's been ages since I last blog. Not having any writers blocked, just that I was too lazy to write and I was too busy designing, sketching and making new softies. I haven't even made softies samples for Tough Girl101. I don't hate cats but I don't mingle with cats too often so I'm having troubles drawing cute angry cats. Made some sketches of cats but still, am not too happy about them. I'm suffering from "perfectionist syndrome". This is bad. Work is progressing slowly as I'm constantly unhappy with the design and the outcome hence the ripping apart of unsatisfactory softies. Currently I have some legs, hands, tiny lil shirts and a head sitting in my storage box. I don't even know what to do with them! I'm absolutely frustrated!

I'll be taking a 2 weeks break from my blog starting from tomorrow. This time-off is much needed as I have to straighten out some personal and business issues but I'll definitely be back once everything is A-Oke. It ain't anything serious or heart wrenching so don't worry. My life is good and I'm happy but I just need some time to clear my mind and get back on track with things I've let loose for quite some time.
Set those aside, I'll be taking a road trip down to Oregon to visit my ChinkBro for Chinese New Year. Haven't been on a trip in a long time so I'm really really hyped. Gotta finish all the task on my list before I can go anywhere. Happy Chinese New Year everyone! Peace!

I never made new year resolutions before because I know by the end of the year, when it's time to reflect on them, nothing would've changed. I'm the kind of person who likes to procastinate things and do it at the very last minute or not do it at all. That being said, I'm not the type who doesn't plan for the future. In fact, I have a long list of things I want for the future; I wanna buy a house, I wanna start my own business, I want a fulfilling life, I wanna travel the world and so on and so forth.
