This post is to answer Redbabe's question on how to strike out words in a blog post for blogger.com

-| He's all prepped |-

Flowers are in full bloom and the sun does not shy away as often. The time has come to prep Roccio for all the funs! Roccio is my other mysterious creature. Why? Well he's a male dog and he's weird, so without a doubt he aced his way into the category. Except for being male and he loves me, he shares no other similar traits with my husband other mysterious creature. However, he possesses a fair share amount of bizarreness.

He is typically a well-behaved little furball. He listens to my commands. He perfoms whatever tricks he learned when I ask him to only if there's food and he pottied at the designated area whenever the needs arise. The whole picture transforms into a horror movie as soon as I leave the house. The goodie little furball morphs into Grimy The Devil! I usually comes home to a pile of poop by the door and pee stain somewhere around. That's his way of punishing me for leaving him alone. Rather mean for a small little dog huh?

I don't blame him. I blame myself for having to leave him (of course in the care of my family) to go abroad for work, training and various reasons. Although he was well taken care of, that did not stop the development of separation anxiety in him as I, the pack leader was not around. Thus he feels lost and anxious whenever I am not with him. Currently we are still working together on his recovery. We do obedient exercises especially sit & stay plus crate training. We also go for long walks in the park or on the beach. He comes home tired, happier, calmer and more ready to be by himself if I leave the house. His improvement is very encouraging and I hope he'll soon regain his calm and confident self.

This is the best before picture I can find

Lately my fren Redbabe has been writing a few post about these mysterious creatures; her mysterious creature to be exact. Her latest post is so funny, it has prompt me to write about them creatures too.

These men creatures have invaded many of our lives, mainly women's lives but somehow I'm glad they did. His their bizzare way of doing things certainly does infuriate me all the time from time to time but often times amusing.

My husband tends to forget I'm his wife and started treating me like his buddy, whispering into my ears sharing the storyline of his PSP game. Telling me how intense the game is, who are the main characters, what they do, how sad the story is and yada, yada, yada. All, while I'm writing or watching a movie. It drives me nuts! I am crazily, "burning midnight oil" addicted to like playing games sometimes but that does not make it all the time. However, whenever I look over and am about to smack him on his head, he throws me this cute boyish grin of his with a tint of sparkle in his eyes. That totally blew me away. Instead I'd give him a peck on the cheek. Well at least he cares enough to share :D

I know alot of these mysterious creatures out there makes your (women's) blood boil but I gotta say I'm really lucky to have one adaptable, mysterious creature invaded my life. I can't say enough how much I appreciate him doing the laundry all the time sometimes, helping me with the dishes and he even learn to put down the toilet seat cover everytime before he flushes. He's not perfect but his imperfections is what makes him perfect for me. His beautiful imperfections is what fills my life and make my life whole. I thank him for loving me and giving me the chance to love him back. Like what Redbabe says, I shall no longer try to unravel the bizarre mystery. Instead I shall marvel at the beauty that it brings with.

So I own have a mysterious creature in my life, do you? Share the stories with us :D.

-| Lets Cook Mama! |-

If you like chicken and if you like vegetables, this is a simple, wholesome recipe that comes in handy when your refrigerator is low on stock. This recipe makes 4 servings to go with rice & one other dish or 2 servings to go with only rice.

All you need is:
1. Quarter chicken breast thinly sliced
2. 3 mini cucumber cut into small chunks
3. 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped (you may opt for 4 slices of ginger if you don't have garlic)
4. 1/2 tablespoon cooking oil
5. 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
6. 1.5 teaspoon sugar
7. 1/2 tablespoon all purpose flour mixed into 1/2 cup of water

Directions:
1. Heat up the oil on high
2. Cook garlic/ginger until lightly brown
3. Then stir in the oyster sauce with the mixture of all purpose flour and water
4. Add sugar and cook till sauce is bubbly
5. Lastly add the chicken and cucumber and stir fry for 2 minutes or until chicken is cook

And voila, your very own simple cucumber chicken in oyster sauce. Hope you have fun trying it out!

I woke up feeling good and fresh this morning. Put on the music, brushed my teeth, showered and put on a nice warm purple dress with my 3 quarter tights.

As I pull open the curtains, the sun was shining through and I was pleasantly greeted by beautiful, blooming tulips dancing with the wind. What a wonderful morning. I love working on days like these. Inspiration flows through with ease. My hands feels light and fast and they work like magic. A nicer day always equals to a more progressive day.

I love spring

Some of you might know and some of you might not, but the first Starbucks was founded in Downtown Seattle at Pike Place Market. It's about a 20 minutes drive from my place so what the heck, lets go check out the first Starbucks to see what it looks like or how special it is. It didn't disappoint me at all. I did enjoy my trip down there as it was warm, sunny and the place was buzzing with life and I had a great lunch in La Panier (french bakery) and an awesome wine tasting session in La Buona Tavola (a small little truffle cafe). Anyway here's a picture that I took in front of Starbucks :

so can you spot the difference?
