Do not attempt to strike up a conversation on Skype, Live Messenger, Google Talk or any other IM application OR sign on your Facebook to scan through everyone's new pictures just glance at the updates while you're cooking, else you risk eating "Me + IM + Facebook + Cooking Pasta = Soggy UglyTasting Pasta". Urghhhhhhhh, what a BIG ewwwwwwwwww!

It's just toooooooooo ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww-ey that my camera won't even "chik chak" when I press the snap button. Can you imagine how ugly that marsh looking pasta is? You still want pictures? Tough Nougies! No pictures! Camera won't budge.

Lesson learned.

p/s: It is not the first time this has happened. There was another shrimpy incident (Shrimpy was meant for MoofMoof - he laughed so much he nearly wet his pants).

-| I Hear the Bells |-

The wedding bells were ringing loud and clear (not mine yet) for Jo and Dave.

I've been to a number of weddings and seen a number of wedding pictures but I've not seen anything like Jo's. They have the sweetest and most adorable wackiest wedding ceremony I've ever seen. Here's why :

Cheers to the most creative wedding costumes, The Bathrobes! And a matchy matchy pink scrunchie too :D...

Here I sincerely wish the newly wed a wonderful marriage and may they fall in love with each other many many times and always for the rest of their life.

Yesterday, 19th of July 2008, Penang celebrated O-Bon (Japanese Buddhist tradition to honor the departed soul of one's ancestor) in Esplanade. Bon Odori (Bon dance) festival, the brain child of the Japanese Expatriate & Immigrant's Society in Malaysia is a yearly event held in both Esplanade, Penang and Matsushita Corp Stadium, Selangor in conjunction with O-Bon.

Bon Odori
Fest takes you on a ride of Japanese arts & dance with the plus bonus of yummo Japanese food and drinks (tako yaki being my personal favorite :D *drools*). People were swarming each and every stall (especially tako yaki stall!) heightening the risk of getting separated from M@rs and Yuki at the pizza stall your friends. Aside from buying, eating, and watching performances, youngs and olds are encouraged to join in the Bon Dance. Having the tummy filled and "saturday night fever" "Bon dance fever" quenched, everyone winds down to watch the spectacular fireworks display that marks the end of the Bon Odori Fest.

Here are some less spectacular pictures I took during the festival (starring MC, Yuki, Zeemi, M@rs and last but not least ME! only half my face is in the picture *sob*) :

This might be my last time enjoying the Bon Odori Festival in Malaysia...I wonder if they have it in Seattle...hmmm...

Words of him have been spreading far and wide. Every time I walk by, I peer into the glass searching for him. As always and without fail, he sits there looking as hot as ever. He makes my heart flutter, like a teenage girl falling in love. At the sight of him, I'm reduced to a mass of quivering jelly. The more I hear about him, the more I look at him, the more I long for him.

Today I ain't gonna run no more. I'm gonna make him mine and bring him home with me.

* * *

I can't believe it! He's mine now and he's home with me. He's sitting in front of me, warm and ready. His nearness and the sweet-hot scent of him completely weakened my knees. I brought my lips close to him. Slowly parting my lips, bringing my mouth over him. As soon as we touched, my lust for him took over me. Losing self-control and losing all my senses, I grew more and more greedy as I tasted him. He explodes into a burst of sweetness and juiciness as I lick and bite. His crisps alone is overpowering. The world began to spiral around me, and I whirled around it, lost to the present, riding a timeless wave of utter satisfaction. Before long...

I've come to completely devoured him,

Eh hamsap people (translation:perverts) , I was not screwing some random hunk I found in a store okay? I was just talking about me enjoying my favorite food, the Bo Lo Bauu. So shake those perverse thoughts out of your brain! =p

p/s: Wish I can feed on it as often as I want to but sadly it is just as fat as McFatty >.<

-| Be Blessed |-

There are enough goodness to go around for everyone in life. Though most of the time we are too caught up in the buzz of life. Piles and piles of work and trains after trains of traffic engulfed all the goodness in us and around us. Day in and day out we complain, we whine of how pathetic our life is and how life is so unfair, how unfortunate we are and how lonely we are. Getting too preoccupied with our own emotional mumbo jumbo we forget about so many millions out there who are so much more unfortunate. Drowned by modernity and propagation of urban beliefs we lost our way. Gratitude and being blessed becomes an ancient feeling. I don't blame you for not seeing it. We all need to be reminded once in a while of the good things that are around us and of the good things we have in us. Whenever you feel less fortunate, picture the victims of Cyclone in Myanmar, Earthquake in Si Chuan and war infested countries. So many homeless and starving, striving hard to make by and yet feeling thankful each day for they are still alive.

It's time for us to go hand in hand and spread some love and kindness all around the world. You can always drop a kind contribution (it does not always has to be money, it can be in the form of support, skills or kind encouraging words as long as it brings a certain kind of comfort for the people in need) at http://www.tzuchi.org/global/ or any other voluntary foundation you believe in.

LETS LOVE AND BE LOVE!

Acknowledge it, embrace it and allow it to stream out steadily. Before you know it, you'll to be strong again. You can't be strong without being weak. Just like a snake, it's strong, agile and vicious but to grow stronger and bigger it has to shed it's skin. When it does, it goes limp, motionless and lifeless for some time. But once it recovers and once new skin comes around it becomes stronger and more powerful than ever before. Same goes to you and I and everyone else around the world.

So don't fret when you fall. See it, feel it and learn from it. Recover you will and better you will be.

Heya! I'm home! Miss me ke? Phew I'm brought back home by AirAsia.

Was so afraid they'll leave me in Singapore and separate me from my Mama and I'll go "Wa wa waaaaaaaaa bring me back to my Mama. I want my Mama" *stomping my feet on the ground*...Hehehe I'm just being dramatic. You know me, I get very drama when I'm over excited. Why? Because I went with an empty luggage and came back with an excess baggage =O ...I didn't only buy things I wanted to buy but I bought stuff that I accidentally stumble upon. Here's how it went...

On our way searching our way to Clark Quay
Me : Hey which way should we go?
Gaz : I think we should go...*trails off*

Sue : Hey I know, instead of taking the traffic lights, lets get across through that store and go straight...

All of Us: Wokie!

So there we go, trotting hastily towards the store hoping to get to Clark Quay ASAP BUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuT

Me : Wait wait wait! *Droools. Staring wide-eyed at the pretty red thing in front of me...Oooh come to mama, baby!*

Our mission to Clark Quay came to a halt! Sue and I began prancing in the store in green, red, pink, blue you name it we tried it shoes. A shoe lover like me can't resist slipping my feet into those gorgeous heels, can I? Orh lovely lovely shoes...I'm sure the store assistants would have chopped us, grind us into small little pieces and throw us into the river of Clark Quay to feed the fishes if we didn't end up buying something from the store. But of course a shoe hoarder can never come out from a shoe store empty handed right? teeheehee. So here's what mi got for miself :

looky looky me grinning so happily in my new red peep toes? and YES! I wore it immediately after I purchased it ^^. Ain't it adorable? Matches my dress perfectly :D

and ORH, look at that sexy green thing. Seriously, how can anyone not buy them?
Arh the question mark? It's something I got for MoofMoof. He doesn't know what I got him yet so I shall not reveal it here either. Answers might be revealed in a month time, so stay tuned.
Alrighty I didn't get the red hot pants (not hot enuff but didn't dare get any shorter pants since my legs *ahem* not that hot la yer) from the same store but I cannot not post it up here when it's such a great buy and oh so cute! too...only cost me SGD10...great buy kan?

I bought tons of other stuffs, mainly clothing. There are just too many of them that one page can hardly fit them all so am not gonna post it all up here ^^...Conclusion = I burn a big hole in my purse once again (erm...more like MoofMoof's pocket ehehehe =p) *wink wink...flashing my innocent kitty smile*

p/s: Thanks baby! (have to show gratitude la kan?)

Teehehehe , not exactly gone with the wind but more like gone with AirAsia. I'll be flying down to Singapore day after today to be with my God-Family and to meet my friends. This would be my last visit...well at least the last for the near few years. I can't just hop back and forth from Seattle to Singapore now, can I? While I'm still in Penang, I wanna make good use of the time I have to visit friends and family near and a little far from home.

As this little trip is meant for visiting, I might not be able to pop in here as often to scribble down my nonsensicality. All the same I'll still attempt to creep in once in a while ^^ ... Wish me a great weekend! See ya!
