Sorry guys, I know I've been gone for too long. Can't help it though, I'm too caught up with summer and too busy helping MoofMoof lay down his business plans. As promised, I pick a couple of my personal favourites from my post-wedding pictures to share with you guys. Enjoy...
I have to thank my friend also photographer Jennifer Tai for her amazing work. It was a very cold windy day but working with her was fun and relaxing. You can always depend on her to come up with brilliant ideas for a picture. To check out her work you can visit http://www.jennifertai.net/ or become her fans on facebook OR follow her on twitter @Jennifertai

By now most of you should know that I'm one of those gadget freaks. Staying true to that nature, I recently bought a new compact camera by Canon, the PowerShot SD780 IS. It's black, it's sleek, it's tiny and it's only 0.7 inches thick. Oh so sexy! It's absolutely the right camera for my everyday use (my DSLR will be reserved for when the time calls for it). I just dumped it in my bag or slip it in my back pocket whenever I head out the door. It's so tiny it can even fit into my skinny jeans' pocket.
- Smart Auto - design to automatically detect 8 different scene types and adjust the shooting settings appropriately.
- Program Auto - there is no manual exposure control option but several scene presets are available.
- HD movies & HDMI output - the camera is ready for HDMI output to a HDTV. It features a maximum of 1280x720 (720p), at 30fps for movie recording.
- Face Detection - track faces within a frame and give them priority in exposure and focus.
- Blink Detection - minimize portrait photos in which the subject is blinking

First of all thousands of apologies for my MIA. Reason being, I was too busy preparing to visit Vietnam and move to Seattle and then got too busy trying to get settled down in Seattle. Now still busy with renovating my future room which will be highlighted in my later post. Now I bunk in MoofMoof's old room.
Okay a quick update of me here before I move on to my main topic:
Sept 02 : Flew to Saigon, Vietnam to visit MoofMoof's relatives
Sept 08 : Flew home to Seattle (new home lo)
Currently : Still in Seattle la, abo then >< :D
Oct 11 : Shall be my wedding registration day in King County Court House, 3rd Ave Downtown Seattle
Aite, back to my cerita:
Have been bising-bising hinting to MoofMoof for the past 2 days that Raya is here and I'm not home to go to all my dad's friends rumah terbuka for all those yummy kuih-muih, rendang, lemang and ketupat. So today MoofMoof suddenly messaged me on MSN while he was at work saying "Hey, lets have Malaysian food for dinner". I was obviously trying to hide my overexcited-ness by just saying "Really?" but padahal I was jumping like crazy in my room already. KK fast forward to dinner time.

Today I read the most beautifully written post it made me cry. It was written by MoofMoof. It's his first post in his first blog. It definitely isn't a bias opinion. It was written so sincerely it truly reflects his reflections. I'm so touched, I'm utterly speechless...

15th of May 2008 was a memorable date. It's the 1st Anniversary for MoofMoof and I. However we didn't officially became an item on that day. We chose to celebrate on that day because :-
1. Neither of us can recall when was the very day we finally hooked up (don't ask me why, it's a long long story)
2. It's mom's birthday so it's easier on our scatty brain.
Although he's halfway around the world, that didn't stop us from celebrating the day two souls united in love bonded in destiny.
That very morning, MoofMoof blew my heart and took my breath away. Just when I thought things can't get any sweeter or any more romantic than that, he would just whoop something right up to sweep me off the ground again. Yea, he sent me a parcel of love. Right then I know I'm the luckiest girl to have found the sweetest guy <3.
(The most wonderful parcel I've ever received)
(Isn't this adorable? A handmade necklace and bracelet and 2 of his most loved cutie keychains which he bought from Vietnam. Piggy keychain-->Me and Doggy keychain-->MoofMoof. Oh by the way he has the same exact bracelet except that it reads "I (LOVE) SAMANTHA" and he wears it everyday. *Melts my heart away*)
(A box full of handmade stars)
(I've received lots of handmade stars in the past but none like these ~ stars with hand-drawn pictures, they are uber cute. He sent 3 superheroes to protect me ~ Superman, Spiderman and Batman, can you spot them? Orh girls {you know who you are when it comes to Foster} if you're reading this can you spot a Foster star he sent, specially for all of us? *squeals excitedly*. Did any of you notice the piece of doodoo? I notice lotsa guys love to draw doodoo. Wonder why? Anyone?)
(The words say it all. Makes me cry when I read them. *rolls eyes*. Well don't look at me like that, I can't help it. I tend to have a soft spot for touchy stuffs like that. *rolls eyes again*)
(He was debating whether to give me lotsa kisses or just one kiss. There, he decided to give me a huge ass kiss!)
(MoofMoof's most fav moomoo or so he says. MoofMoof won it from the fair. He's a freaky froggy-like moomoo ~ "Hun, don't debate it cause you know it's freaky, even Ryan says so". But I still think it's super duper cute, just like you, freaky but super duper adorable *Runs for life before I get tickled to death*)
(And last but not least, how can a card not accompany so many loveable goodies. Not 1 but 2 CARDS! And they are handmade too! *Awwwww melts habis-habisan* , translation - fully melted, I think...hmm... *scratching head*)
See, how can I not say I'm the luckiest girl when a guy does so many many uber sweet confections? We spent the rest of the day babbling away ~ <3.

-| 清明节/QingMing Jie/Tết Thanh Minh (Clear Bright Festival) |-
2 cents Posted by Samantha at 12:45 AM
The official name is QingMing Jie but it is also widely known as Clear Bright Festival or Tomb Sweeping Day or All Souls Day by some English paper. It's a day celebrated by the Chinese community on the 15th day from the Spring Equinox to honor past ancestors. The ceremony comprises of cleaning and sweeping the graves, offering of food to deceased and burning of joss-sticks and joss papers.
This year my eldest uncle, dad, mom and I went to perform our duty and pay our respect to Grandpa on the 28th of March. We started of as early as 5am in the morning to avoid the traffic jam and to avoid fussing over parking space. We are gradually phasing out the burning of joss-sticks and joss papers because we are aware of the inflating pollution that is sweeping us throughout the world. We can't discontinue it abruptly as we do not want to distress Granny either. Anyway it's a good thing that we are slowly scrapping off the harmful burning ritual. We started the service early and thus we finished early too. We left the ground at about 8.30am for some "Chou Cha" before heading home
